Quick Start Guide
Welcome to Cashvelope! This guide will help you get started with our smart money management app in just a few minutes.
Download the App
Cashvelope is available on both iOS and Android platforms:
Create Your Account
- Open the Cashvelope app
- Tap "Sign Up" on the welcome screen
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Verify your email address through the link sent to your inbox
- Complete your profile with basic information
Set Up Your First Budget
Getting started with budgeting is easy:
- From the dashboard, tap the "Budgets" tab
- Select "Create New Budget"
- Choose a budget category (e.g., Groceries, Transportation, Entertainment)
- Set your monthly budget amount
- Tap "Save" to create your budget
Track Your First Expense
Start tracking your expenses right away:
- From the dashboard, tap the "+" button
- Enter the expense amount
- Select the category
- Add a note (optional)
- Tap "Save" to record your expense
Connect Your Bank Account (Optional)
For automatic expense tracking:
- Go to "Settings" > "Linked Accounts"
- Tap "Add Account"
- Select your bank from the list
- Follow the secure authentication process
- Choose which accounts to sync
