Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Cashvelope! This guide will help you get started with our smart money management app in just a few minutes.

Download the App

Cashvelope is available on both iOS and Android platforms:

Create Your Account

  1. Open the Cashvelope app
  2. Tap "Sign Up" on the welcome screen
  3. Enter your email address and create a password
  4. Verify your email address through the link sent to your inbox
  5. Complete your profile with basic information

Set Up Your First Budget

Getting started with budgeting is easy:

  1. From the dashboard, tap the "Budgets" tab
  2. Select "Create New Budget"
  3. Choose a budget category (e.g., Groceries, Transportation, Entertainment)
  4. Set your monthly budget amount
  5. Tap "Save" to create your budget

Track Your First Expense

Start tracking your expenses right away:

  1. From the dashboard, tap the "+" button
  2. Enter the expense amount
  3. Select the category
  4. Add a note (optional)
  5. Tap "Save" to record your expense

Connect Your Bank Account (Optional)

For automatic expense tracking:

  1. Go to "Settings" > "Linked Accounts"
  2. Tap "Add Account"
  3. Select your bank from the list
  4. Follow the secure authentication process
  5. Choose which accounts to sync
